The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples welcomes back Conrad Williams, a Dale Chihuly trained glass artist. Beginning Thur. Dec. 1 2016, Williams will once again provide guests an opportunity to design their own glass keepsake through an interactive glass blowing experience. Perfect for the traveler seeking unique experiences, guests will choose from a rainbow of colors and work beside the artist forming molten glass with their breath and shaping tools. The result is a beautiful one-of-a-kind creation.

“The experience is ideal for beginners,” says Conrad Williams. “It is a unique opportunity for someone who has never blown glass before to experience the unique process and create their own work of art.”

Participants will have the opportunity to design their own light catcher or ornament starting at $99 or glass bowl starting at $199. The experience is geared for the novice and will be offered poolside at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples beach resort Thur.- Sat. through April, the schedule is subject to change and based on weather.The glass blowing experience is available to both resort and local guests. About Conrad Williams

A Florida native, Conrad Williams has been creating with glass since 1998. He received his BFA from California College of the Arts in glass and sculpture. He settled into the Northwest after completing a yearlong internship with Ben Moore and Dale Chihuly. In 2008 Conrad and Erin Williams opened Studio West, an interactive gallery and glassblowing studio. The studio served as a venue for Conrad to make his work and as a teaching facility that was rated the number one thing to do in Eugene, Oregon. Shortly after the birth of his first son, Conrad and Erin returned to their hometown, Naples, FL to pursue their creative endeavors. Conrad’s work continues to draw from the heritage of Italian techniques, while appreciating Scandinavian simplicity
