Craving Fashion Raises $40,000 for Make-A-Wish and United Way

Waterside Shops’ Craving Fashion Brought Together Food, Fashion and Fun to Benefit Local Charities

NAPLES, Fla. – 9/28/16 – Guests enjoyed an evening of food, fashion and fun to support two local charities during the 4^th annual Craving Fashion event, Friday, September 23, 2016, at Waterside Shops, the Gulf Coast’s premiere shopping and dining destination.

While participants strolled among the center’s favorite luxury brands, they enjoyed live entertainment and samplings from more than 40 local restaurants during an event that raised in excess of $40,000 for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida and United Way of Collier County.

In addition to the sips, shopping and strolling, culinary-based awards were presented in two categories:

• Ambiance winners:

1. First place: Ario—Marco Island Marriott
2. Second place tie: Sushi Thai and Tommy Bahama
3. Third place: Here’s Howe

• Taste winners:

1. First place: Season’s 52
2. Second place tie: Fleming’s Steakhouse and Fresh Fit Foods
3. Third place: Noodles Italian Café and Sushi Bar

“Of course, we’re thrilled that the event gets bigger and better each year,” explains Anne Fleming, General Manager of Waterside Shops. “What’s most thrilling is that through working with our community, we were able to provide United Way and Make-A-Wish the needed resources to continue serving children, women and men here in Collier County.”
