Yabba Island Grill Now Open for Lunch

YabbaYabba Island Grill, located at 711 5th Ave S. in Naples, now offers lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The tropical themed restaurant’s lunch menu includes appetizers, sandwiches, salads, burgers and many of the restaurant’s Caribbean inspired dishes. Yabba Island Grill is also open for dinner from 5:30 – 10 p.m. and offers outdoor seating and music on weekends.

Starters include chips and salsa, Jamaican jerk chicken wings, Caribbean egg rolls, shrimp nachos, crispy green beans, shrimp cocktail, and tomato soup. Salads include traditional favorites along with Yabba specialties such as “Escape to Yabba Island,” which includes a mix of garden herbs with watermelon, toasted sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, pecans and pears, served with tomatoes, chevre cheese and raspberry-yuzu dressing.

Yabba Menu itemOther salads include the “Buffalo Chicken Wedge,” which includes fried chicken tenders tossed in a buffalo hot sauce with croutons,  cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes and blue cheese crumbles in a blue cheese dressing; “Magic Mountain,” which has spinach, chicken breast, hearts of palm, blue cheese mushrooms, candied pecans, mandarin oranges and tomatoes tossed in a warm baconberry vinaigrette and topped with rasta-fried onion; and “The Country Clubber,” a mix of tuna, chicken and egg salad served with sliced fresh tomatoes and lettuce. Chicken, shrimp, salmon or mini crab cakes can be added to any salad for a small additional charge.

Sandwiches include a chicken and cheese panini, grilled chicken BLT, corned beef, turkey and Havarti veggie wrap, avocado tuna melt, tuna on rye, chicken and grape salad croissant, and “The Great Fish Sandwich,” which features Red Stripe beer-battered Haddock on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato and red onion served with island tartar and lemon.

Yabba Menue item 2The burger selection includes a classic burger; the “Caribbean Cowboy,” featuring a Black Angus burger with chipotle barbecue, applewood-smoked bacon, hand-cut onion rings and cheddar; and the “Triple Cheese and Bacon,” featuring a Black Angus burger topped with American, Monterey Jack, and cheddar cheese and peppered bacon on a brioche bun. All sandwiches and burgers are served with a choice of French fries, sweet potato fries or potato chips, and a grilled chicken breast can be substituted for any burger.

Yabba brings many of its famous dinner specialties to the lunch menu as well. Offerings include “Sugar Shack Shrimp™,” hot and spicy
shrimp with black beans and rice; “Chicken Chow Chow,” fried panko-encrusted chicken breast stuffed with herb cheese, served with a fresh mango chow chow and a light red wine vinaigrette; “Rasta Pasta,” featuring tender shrimp, little neck clams and mussels sautéed with garlic,
white wine, fresh tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, hearts of artichoke and sweet basil tossed with angel hair pasta and parmesan cheese; tacos; fish and chips, beef stir fry; and southern-fried shrimp.
