Republican Women of Southwest Florida Federated is actively engaged with Turning Point USA –a grassroots organization of conservative high school and college students. TPUSA promotes the benefits of limited government, American exceptionalism, and free market capitalism.

Turning Point USA was launched in 2012 by Charlie Kirk, Founder and CEO. Turning Point USA is a 24/7-365-day a year organization changing the way conservatives engage high school and college students.

Active on over 1,500 college and high school campuses across the country, TPUSA is the nation’s largest and most active conservative student organization.

We have been instrumental in coordinating the efforts to establish and support three TPUSA chapters. Ave Maria University-Campus Coordinator and Chapter President Alyssa Porta with over 300 members; Barron Collier High School-Co-Presidents: Walker Brunner and Lauren Crisci 110 members and FGCU-Campus Chapter Coordinator Rachel Brener with over 200 members.

RWSFF looks forward to starting more chapters in Collier County high schools in 2020. Each Chapter has various meetings and gatherings throughout the academic year; they engage in debate, dialogue and discussion on free markets, fiscal responsibility, and limited government.

TPUSA organizes a series of annual events including regional conferences. The Summit events are the Young Women’s Leadership Summit, Young Latino Leadership Summit, Young Jewish Leadership Summit, Teenage Student Action Summit and concluding the year with the largest ever Student Action Summit (SAS) in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The 2019 TPUSA SAS was held December 19 – 22 in West Palm Beach with over 5,000 students in attendance. The students heard from a diverse group of conservative super stars including Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Ben Shapiro, Laura Ingraham, Sebastian Gorka, James O’Keefe, Sarah Sanders, Rudy Giuliani and many others. TPUSA welcomed President Donald J. Trump early Saturday evening and he didn’t disappoint the audience of young Conservatives.

The TPUSA Events serve the purpose of training, inspiring and connecting student leaders with the tools and resources needed to succeed on their campuses and beyond!

Collier students Lauren Crisci and Alyssa Porta attended the Young Women Leadership Summit in Dallas and Blake Carter attended the Teen Student Action Leadership Summit in Washington DC in 2019.

Republican Women of SWFL Federated focus on Education and Veterans. We are active in our efforts to seek improvement in K-12 Education- exposing students to organizations like TPUSA is one way we are engaged in the community.

We recognize the great contributions and sacrifices of our Veterans and focus on programs and issues of Veterans. RWSFF meets on the first Wednesday of the month for a luncheon meeting. Our monthly evening event is W3 Women Wine & Wisdom, held on the third Wednesday of the month. Email info@rwsff.org for details.
