Argan oil is from a seed of a flowing plant called Argania Spinosa and is harvested in July. This plant is mostly found in Morocco, where it has been used for years as miracle oil for hair.
Argan oil has the ability to penetrate through the cuticle layer while smoothing and coating. This penetrating oil gets deep into the cortical layer enhancing the elasticity. The oil delivers vitamin E to the cortical layer, aiding in the repair of environmental damage. Argan oil contains anti-oxidants which helps strengthen weakened hair, while the Omega 3 and fatty acids found in Argan Oil help in healing split ends. All this is added to the natural hydration that Argan gives.
Argan oil can be applied on damp or dry hair, and even both when needed. Many professionals use Argan Oil in hair treatments; I personally add it to every color service. On top of all of that it protects hair from over styling and delivers incredible shine, and who doesn’t like shiny hair?
