No Regrets

The following was written by Vermont Realtor Jill Lawrence in one of her recent mailings: “99% of sellers have the same regret: They waited to make changes to their home until the were selling (and they didn’t get to enjoy it while they livedthere!)

Let me tell you something most other agents won’t: don’t worry about what future buyers will think! Invest in making your home exactly what you want it to be while you still live there!

Sure, maybe you’ll need to paint your kitchen back to alabaster instead of banana yellow, but if a bright yellow kitchen fills you with joy every morning when you make your coffee, then go bananas!

Love where you live now, worry about selling later. ”
