Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Heritage Soul Food Gala

Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (MMBC) is an historical church located in the heart of the City of Naples that has been serving this community for over 85 years. In addition to its philanthropic endeavors, MMBC brings spiritual enlightenment and makes visits to those sick and shut in. It is a community church dedicated to serving the entire community of Collier County.

Last year the idea for the Gala was formed as a means to raise much needed revenue for the organization. The Gala was such a success last year that the officers and members decided to do it again. Funds raised last year were used to improve the buildings structure.   For instance, new walls, lighting, doors and windows were installed this past year. Other repairs are still needed to bring the facility up to code.

This year the Soul Food Gala will be on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the River Park Community Center. Those that came last year enjoyed entertainment, food, a live and silent auction and an atmosphere of harmony and togetherness. Tickets are $100 per person. Come join in the food, fun, and family atmosphere that is reminisce of old Naples.
