Award-Winning NCH Rooney Heart Institute to Host Third Annual Cardiovascular Summit in March 2024

Committed to providing the highest quality of cardiovascular care for nearly 25 years in Southwest Florida, the award-winning NCH Rooney Heart Institute is proud to announce its third annual “Naples Cardiovascular Summit: Advances in Cardiology for Primary Care,” on March 1 and 2, 2024 at the Arthrex One Conference Center.

This comprehensive educational two-day cardiovascular summit will feature contemporary trends and updates in cardiac care in partnership with renowned faculty from Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute (MHI); targeted to primary care physicians & clinicians, nurses, residents and fellows in training, and first responders.

“We are excited to partner with our prestigious colleagues from MHI to provide our guests the latest trends and developments in cardiovascular care,” said Dr. Robert Cubeddu, (Featured Photo) Course Director and President of the NCH Rooney Heart Institute. “We have outlined an exciting course agenda with a wide range of hot topics that will increase awareness and enhance delivery of care for our patients.”

“The purpose of the two-day event is to expand the knowledge of clinicians, nurses, trainees and first responders in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease” said Dr. Viviana Navas, Course Co-Director, NCH Rooney Heart Institute. “In addition, we will have the opportunity to learn from our esteemed guest faculty Johns Hopkins, Mount Sinai, Christ Hospital, and others.” Interactive sessions and key topics to be covered include coronary artery disease, cardiac disease prevention, structural and valvular heart disease, and heart failure and cardiomyopathies, cardio-oncology, cardio-obstetrics, and women’s heart disease.

Registration is $150 for physicians, $75 for nurses and $50 for other categories. Medical residents and fellows can register for $50, and all attendees are eligible to receive 13 CME or MOC credits.
