Art After Dark – November 2015

naples pier artNovember is a great month to be in Naples as the weather continues to improve, especially compared to other parts of the country. As well as the good weather, we focus on “Celebrating the Arts” throughout the county.

The United Arts Council spearheads this month of the arts and The Galleries of Crayton Cove participate with various activities including but not limited to, Art After Dark, where all the galleries in the Cove are open and welcoming the public to experience and enjoy the visual arts available in their area along with live music performed by some of our talented Naples musicians on the Second Saturday of this and every month throughout season.

November 4, Nora Butler Design is having a grand opening of an expanded show space housing the works by nine of our area artists working in various mediums. Take this opportunity to meet some of our newest Crayton Cove artists.

naples cottage artGuess-Fisher Gallery and Phil Fisher Gallery will be featuring a show of their newest works titled “The Tropical Tour.” The opening reception is 6 – 9 p.m. November 14 when you can meet the artists while viewing the colorful and exciting paintings in their galleries.

Random Acts of Art has a number of new artists and craftsman in her gallery with works that will “tickle your fancy.” There is a fresh look to Vintage Charm that offers a look into the past along with some beautiful works of art by Richard and Carol Zolan. Earth & Fire is always creating new works in clay and offering fun classes that are enjoyable for all ages.

batik palm tree“Art After Dark” is an event hosted by the Galleries of Crayton Cove on Saturday November 14, from 6 – 9 p.m. offering a chance to stroll the galleries and experience Art in a comfortable environment. We are a professional artist community in Old Naples by the Bay, all within a one-block walk, where 8th St. S. and 12th Ave. S. meet at the flagpole.
