We are fortunate to be in Naples and there is a lot of art going on!

Our community is especially busy with art shows of all kinds during this time of year. There are gallery shows featuring various artists’ works that will be shown anywhere from a day to months on end. On top of that, there are numerous outdoor shows that last for a day or two, happening almost every weekend, and are very dependent on the weather. There is one outdoor show, in its 21 year, that will be on March 17 this year, that is of special note.

It’s called “5 Painters & A Potter” and features six artists that have lived and painted here from 44 to 53 years and counting. This is an annual event that is held at The Naples Clay Place, 1555 Shadowlawn Dr., Naples. You can see the works and meet the artists Phil Fisher, Paul Arsenault, Jim Rice, Tara O’Neill, Rick Wobbe and Natalie Guess from 11:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday March 17. It’s a festive day where you can listen to live music performed by Captain Joe and the Bottomfeeders, while enjoying the variety of artwork by these accomplished artists.
