Wilson & Johnson Private Foundation Launches Web Site for Grant Applications

The Wilson & Johnson Private Foundation is pleased to announce that it has launched a brand-new web site. Located at WJFoundation.com, this new site is aimed at raising awareness of the Foundation and making the grant application process more efficient for local charities.

Founded in 2023, the Wilson & Johnson Private Foundation is a private family foundation that primarily funds charitable activities through grants. Over the years, it has supported local nonprofits benefitting children and families, education and community health. It also is involved in the community through support of local events and initiatives. The new web site will now serve as the facilitator for this support.

“The primary function of this new web site is that it serves as the single source for nonprofit organizations to submit grant applications,” said Whitney Schadler, Co-Trustee of the Wilson & Johnson Private Foundation. “It is our intent to accept applications quarterly with non-profit gifts being awarded quarterly.”

The window of applications for gifts that will be funded in Q3 is open from July 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026. Applicants can download a PDF worksheet to help them prepare their submission content.

The Wilson & Johnson Private Foundation focuses its giving and partners with local nonprofit organizations to create measurable, generational impact in Collier County. The Foundation invests in projects that strengthen families, improve education and build a healthier community for future generations. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $3.4 million to 35 nonprofits.

“The Wilson & Johnson Private Foundation was established from a $20 million endowment that directs more than $1 million in annual giving to initiatives that strengthen Collier County,” said George A. Wilson, Foundation Co-Trustee. “Built on decades of guiding families in shaping their legacies, the Foundation extends that same care into the community, turning thoughtful planning into lasting impact.”
