The Naples Bay Club Undergoes Multi-Million Dollar Renovation

On the heels of their 10 year anniversary, the iconic  Naples Bay Club, a private membership club located in a beautifully lush area minutes from downtown  Naples,  the beach and bay, has undergone a multi-million dollar interior and exterior renovation to provide its members with best in class amenities, equipment and service – and the perfect escape.

Those were the dreams and visions of veteran real estate developer and owner of the land and surrounding areas, Fred Pezeshkan. After more than 10 years, he decided it was time to partially renovate and upgrade the Club to enhance the membership experience and provide the same standard of excellence as the neighboring 4-Diamond Naples Bay Resort & Marina. “We are excited about the Club’s renovations and offering our members a superior, one-of-a-kind membership experience,” said Fred Pezeshkan.

“The Club features everything from resort style pools and lazy river, a tennis facility and fitness center, a marina, a spa and access to championship golf courses. These renovations will better accommodate the needs of our current and future members. The Club is a tropical haven with new
world-class amenities and impeccable service perfect for local and seasonal couples, families and individuals to enjoy an upscale club and social lifestyle.” Upgrades and renovations began in July 2018 and will be completed in January 2020.

More than $2.9 million was devoted to address almost every interior and exterior area of the Club including its lobby, fitness center, outdoor bar, and Members Lounge. As members enter, they will be greeted with a new air conditioned lobby, entryway and lounge, encased in floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The area now features a stone-layered desk, where dedicated concierge staff are available to greet, assist and direct members to the myriad Club amenities including the resort style pools, adults-only relaxation area, full service tennis facility, state-of-the-art fitness center, award-winning boutique spa and Blue Water Grill & Bar poolside restaurant. New software was also installed to operate and manage membership, bookings and point of sale.

The Club now offers the perfect location for members’  milestone  celebrations or business meetings – the new Members Lounge  was  designed by award-winning design firm Clive Daniel Hospitality. The Lounge will be revamped with a new bar, carpet, blinds, furniture, pool table, poker table and modern lighting. It will be available in the off-peak season for these special occasions. Social events exclusively for members, such as Member Mixers, and planned evening entertainment will continue at The Club. For members looking to continue or jumpstart their fitness routine, the popular fitness center has been fully equipped with cardiovascular and strength training machines by TechnoGym, the leading global manufacturer of fitness equipment based in Cesena, Italy.

This new state-of-the-art equipment alone was more than $400,000 and is one of the only gyms in Southwest Florida to offer this top of the line brand. A post workout or simply a relaxing lunch by the plunge pool and lazy river can be enjoyed at the Club’s outdoor Blue Water Bar & Grill, which was fully refurbished and seating capacity doubled in size. Five 55-inch flat screen TVs were added
to capture all current entertainment.

All Club buildings were painted in white and new exterior lighting will be mounted in mid-December. A new path for a golf cart shuttle was carved out between the Naples Bay Resort and the Naples Bay Club to provide better access between the two facilities. In addition to the visible and unseen infrastructure updates, the team at The Club, helmed by General Manager, John Reilly, and
Director of Club Operations, Carl Cyr, increased management and supervisory staff as well as new pool staffing to offer a superior level of service and more personalized attention to the member.

New membership pricing will be released in December 2019 and feature a new Premium tier membership that will include access to other amenities like boat rentals. Plans for an all new
Top Golf Suite complete with a cutting-edge virtual golf simulator, lounge couches and chairs, and
access to a bar are also underway.
