Share the Love with your Love in the Secret Garden

Enjoy a magical evening under the stars, with a wisp of fantasy for a Valentine’s celebration on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. The 5th Annual Share the Love features Broadway-style musical performances and culinary cuisine prepared by renowned Chef Brian Roland and Crave Culinaire.

With an enchanted theme inspired by Gulfshore Playhouse’s Teen Conservatory production of “The Secret Garden,” Share the Love will feature intimate tables for two, illuminated by thousands of twinkling lights draped from surrounding trees in a lavish nature setting hosted by Reneé and Scott Relf at The Portico at Oakes Estates.

Guests will find themselves in a secret garden under a canopy of mature oaks serenaded by the romantic velvety tones of internationally acclaimed Welsh baritone, Mark Llewellyn Evans. Participation in this unforgettable event is limited to 40 couples. Tickets are $500 per couple, and include evening entertainment, dancing and dinner.

Serving students throughout Southwest Florida, Gulfshore Playhouse Education includes ThinkTheatre in-school residencies, pre-professional theatre training, community partnerships, audience engagement, and student matinees for students in first through 12th grade.

“The Secret Garden” was part of Gulfshore Playhouse’s audition-only Teen Conservatory
program this past summer, and included a full-scale production of the Broadway musical
directed by Associate Artistic Director and longtime Broadway veteran, Jeffrey Binder.

This spring, the Teen Conservatory program will feature two public showcase performances: A cabaret on January 20 and a one-act play on May 22 performed on the Gulfshore Playhouse stage at The Norris Center.

and into summer, and through the community’s generous support, we’ll be able to provide additional need-based scholarships to students.”

This month, Gulfshore Playhouse will debut the French fantasy production of  The Revolutionists.”
Written by the most produced playwright in America, this explosive comedy puts a modern twist on history as four historic women fight for equality and freedom. The show runs January 12-February 3; preview performances are January 10 and 11.
