When quintessential Neapolitan hospitality joins forces with artistic excellence, the results can only be described as … unforgettable.

The third annual Share the Love Valentine’s concert has named Gulfshore Playhouse as beneficiary of its 2017 two evening philanthropic event. Held at The Portico at Oakes Estates, the celebration begins Sunday evening, February 12, with a cozy fireside chat featuring Gulfshore Playhouse Founder and Producing Artistic Director, Kristen Coury. She will be joined by preeminent Shakespeare scholar Gail Kern Paster, who will discuss the themes of Gulfshore Playhouse’s production of The Merchant of Venice which opens on March 25th.

The main event, the Share the Love Valentine’s Concert Under the Stars, will be held the following night, February 13. The evening begins with the Carl Evans Band as couples enjoy dinner by Chef Brian Roland and Crave Culinaire.

The dining experience features intimate tables for two, set under the stars and illuminated by thousands of twinkle lights draped from surrounding trees. Returning for the third year as the event’s featured artist is internationally renowned Welsh baritone, Mark Llewellyn Evans. Although recognized for his rich warm Italian voice, Mark is comfortable in sharing his ever-present wit with his audiences.

Participation in this unforgettable event is limited to 40 couples, and preregistration is required. For more information about the 2017 Share the Love event benefitting The Gulfshore Playhouse, including ticket and sponsorship information, visit www.theporticonaples.com or call 239.287.3964.
