SALLY K. WATTS JOINS THE PARKINSON’S ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA AS
MANAGER OF MISSION IMPACT AND EDUCATION
The Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida (PASWFL) welcomes Sally K. Watts to their staff as Manager of Mission Impact & Education. Watts will oversee all aspects of the PASWFL’s programming, including more than twenty movement, speech practice, support groups, and wellness classes each week for persons with PD and their care partners. The PASWFL offers these programs both virtually through Zoom and in-person.

Schoeffel, Executive Director of the PASWFL. “With her extensive experience in healthcare and membership management, Sally is perfectly suited to be the primary contact for our members and the Southwest Florida Parkinson’s community. Her expertise will help us advance our mission to enrich the quality of life and empower individuals affected by Parkinson’s and related neurodegenerative diseases through our exceptional programs and services while continuing to offer robust, free programming for those touched by PD.”
As a long-time resident and professional in Southwest Florida, with a distinguished career spanning diverse industries, Sally Watts brings a wealth of experience to her role as Manager of Mission Impact and Education for the Parkinson’s Association. Sally comes to the PASWFL from her position as Director of Membership Sales at The Club at Grandezza where she was responsible for the club’s membership program. Previous career positions include working with Senior Choice at Home where she spearheaded membership growth. Her earlier role at Avow Hospice included expanding hospice care within long-term care communities, focused on strategic marketing and conflict resolution. Sally’s leadership roles, including positions with Toastmasters and various philanthropic organizations, highlight her commitment to community and professional development. She is also a published author and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from Slippery Rock University.
Sally Watts is excited to bring her diverse background, passion, and dedication to her new role at the Parkinson’s Association.

Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that the CDC ranks as the 14th-leading cause of death in the U.S., and the second-most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s. There is currently no cure for this disease.
