The Shelter for Abused Women and Children

Day Adjusting & Consulting was honored to present a $5,000 check to The Shelter for Abused Women and Children on September 21, 2024.The donation will support the Gentle’men Against Domestic Violence (or GADV) initiative.

GADV calls on men to stand as equal partners with women, to end domestic violence and human trafficking and create a community where everyone is valued and safe.

Blake Day, President of Day Adjusting & Consulting, was introduced to the initiative by one of this year’s fundraising event co-chairs, Corey Lazar of WINK TV. The upcoming fundraiser is the 13th Annual GADV Men’s Event and will be held at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Grey Oaks Country Club. This men-only event will also be co-chaired by Colin Estrem.

The men’s only event began in 2008 to benefit The Shelter and since that time, GADV has raised more than $2.8 million. Funds raised help support The Shelter’s two 60-bed emergency shelters and over 30 outreach programs that transform the lives of the families who are served.
