PEACH TREE DESIGNS CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF PROVIDING HOME FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES ON NAPLES’ FIFTH AVENUE SOUTH

The Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District (BID) is pleased to announce that Peach Tree Designs will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in January as a boutique store selling fine home furniture, unusual decorative accessories, lighting, artwork, mirrors and unique gifts as well as jewelry.

Located at 407 Fifth Ave. S., Peach Tree Designs was established by Judy Collins in 1978 as a wholesale decorative painting business based out of her home in Barnstable Village on Cape Cod. The first retail store opened in 1980, and with the help of husband Bob, the business later expanded around Cape Cod with locations in Falmouth, Mashpee Commons and Yarmouthport. Daughter Stacie Carroll joined the family business after graduating college and helped open the new store on Fifth Avenue South in 1997.

The northern stores were eventually closed, and the family now focuses all their attention on the Naples-based business. Although Carroll runs the store year-round, her parents are still very much involved during season, and third-generation daughter Charlie is also learning the family business.

“We love being in Naples and on Fifth Avenue South in particular,” Carroll said. “The Avenue is becoming more prominent and is already well established as Naples’ “Main Street.” It’s where visitors and locals come to experience what Naples is all about. I truly can’t imagine us being anywhere else.”

“Peach Tree Designs has been a leading boutique business along Fifth Avenue South since the earliest days of the redevelopment initiative,” said Bruce Barone, Jr., executive director for the Fifth Avenue South BID. “We are delighted to join them in celebrating this milestone achievement and look forward to the next 25 years of success in Naples.”

To recognize its 25th anniversary on Fifth Avenue South, Peach Tree Designs is inviting customers and the public to a special celebration on Saturday January 22nd from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. During this event, 25 percent of sales will be donated to a local charity, Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF) as a way to say Thank You to the community.

Featuring more than 220 businesses, including high-end shops, world-class dining, unique boutiques and galleries, and exciting entertainment options, Fifth Avenue South is the vibrant heart of Naples. For further information, visit www.FifthAvenueSouth.com.
