Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida Hosts July PD Talk Zoom Series Featuring Micrographia, Little-Known PD Symptoms, and Sound Healing

The Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida (PASWFL) is proud to present a free PD Talk Zoom Series this July, designed to educate, support, and empower individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease (PD), their care partners, and the wider community.
Each 45-minute session offers expert insights into the unique challenges and treatment approaches related to Parkinson’s disease, all from the comfort of home. Every talk concludes with a 15-minute Q&A, giving participants the chance to ask questions and engage directly with the presenter.

With extensive experience in clinical care and Parkinson’s research, Dr. Gilbert brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to this important conversation. Rebecca Gilbert joined APDA in 2018, first as Chief Scientific Officer, and more recently as Chief Mission Officer. She plays a key role in developing APDA’s long-term mission strategy, oversees APDA’s research portfolio, and provides medical and clinical expertise to support APDA programming and educational content.
