NCH Named One of America’s 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades for Second Consecutive Year
Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) has been named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades for 2026 for the second consecutive year earning the organization’s highest recognition for clinical excellence and placing NCH in the top 1% of hospitals nationwide. This prestigious designation underscores the system’s sustained commitment to delivering exceptional, outcomes-driven care for the community we serve.
Healthgrades’ America’s 50 Best Hospitals award represents the pinnacle of achievement in hospital
quality and reflects superior performance across a broad range of conditions and procedures. The
recognition is based on what matters most to patients: clinical outcomes. To determine America’s 50 Best Hospitals for 2026, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for more than 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide. The analysis found significant variation in outcomes between the nation’s highest- and lowest-performing hospitals, with the performance gap continuing to widen.
Healthgrades further reported that if all hospitals, as a group, performed similarly to America’s 50 Best Hospitals, an estimated 209,081 lives could have been saved between 2022 and 2024.* These findings
reinforce the importance of choosing a hospital with a proven record of superior patient outcomes. “This year’s America’s Best Hospitals list gives patients a clearer picture of where high-quality care is delivered most consistently,” said Alana Biggers, MD, MPH, medical advisor at Healthgrades. Patients can feel confident in their decision to seek care at NCH, an organization that is setting the standard for clinical excellence nationwide.”
“Being named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals reinforces what drives our team every day: a deep
commitment to our mission and to providing exceptional care and experiences for our patients,” said
Paul Hiltz, President and CEO of NCH (Featured Photo). “This recognition speaks to the dedication of our physicians, nurses, and team who continually raise the standard of care for our community.” The America’s 50 Best Hospitals distinction is Healthgrades’ highest honor for clinical excellence and reflects an unwavering focus on safety, quality and patient-centered care.
