Naples Winter Wine Tops Wine Spectator’s Prestigious List of Top 10 Charity Wine Auctions
For the 10th time since its inception in 2001, the Naples Winter Wine Festival has been awarded the prestigious title of the highest-grossing charity wine auction in the country by Wine Spectator Magazine. The esteemed ranking went to the 2015 Naples Winter Wine Festival after it raised over $11 million for Collier County’s kids during the live auction.
“We’re thrilled to top the list, because so many children are counting on us and so many organizations in our community depend on the funds raised at the Naples Winter Wine Festival,” said Sandi Moran, Co-Chair of the 2015 Naples Winter Wine Festival. “Getting top honors is a win-win for everyone, particularly the beneficiaries of the money raised. It’s incredibly moving to watch everyone come together to devote their time, energy, and talent to making the Naples Winter Wine Festival a success and providing more resources for at-risk children.”
Since 2001, the Naples Winter Wine Festival has raised more than $146 million for its founding organization, the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF), which has awarded grants to more than 40 non-profit organizations that have impacted the lives of over 200,000 children.
The 2017 Naples Winter Wine Festival is scheduled for January 27-29, 2017 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Fl.
