LuLu’s Kitchen Welcomes Executive Chef Adrian Robinson

LuLu’s Kitchen, one of the culinary operations of St. Matthew’s House, anon-profit organization that seeks to help ease hunger, homelessness and addiction, has announced the addition of Chef Adrian Robinson as Executive Chef to its team.

“We’re excited about the culinary experience crafted by Chef Robinson for our family, friends and community,” said Norman Armstrong, Director of Hospitality at St. Matthew’s House. “Under his helm, LuLu’s Kitchen will be serving up an eclectic menu inspired by French and California Soul Food with a twist. Naples residents and visitors alike are in for a treat.”

Equally important, the tasty fare will also do a world of good. LuLu’s Kitchen is part of the unique St. Matthew’s House social enterprise model and proceeds fund its lifesaving work.

Chef Robinson brings more than two decades of culinary experience to LuLu’s Kitchen. After graduating from Boise State with a degree in music theory, he enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, California, and graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts. In 2008, he became a Certified Executive Chef of the American Culinary Federation of Monterey, California.

Chef Robinson has proudly worked alongside renowned chefs such as Wolfgang Puck, Mike Almos, Santana Diaz, Mike Knowles and Roy Choi. He is the recipient of Platinum Account Awards and a Center for Excellence Award from Compass Group, the world’s number one food service provider. He also has garnered the “I Love Poke” Festival national competition award, the San Diego Humanitarian Award, the Most Inspirational Chef Award, and the Iron Toque Award From Le Cordon Bleu. In addition, Chef Robinson has been recognized for lending a helping hand to the Norcal and Socal Emergency Responder Team and the USA National Disasters Program.

Chef Robinson’s award-winning talents have graced events at AT&T Stadium, Mandalay Bay, Google, TaylorMade Golf, Adidas, Service NOW of La Jolla, California and Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital of Eureka, California, to name a few.

Always excited about the goodness of food, Chef Robinson is especially eager to give back and be a part of something bigger. As he puts it, “While you’re getting a great dining experience, you’re also helping to change lives.”
