Lots And Lots To Love

Each year in January, the Naples Children & Education Foundation hosts its primary fundrasier – the Naples Winter Wine Festival.

Scheduled this year for January 24-26, the Festival’s main event is the Saturday auction, all proceeds of which go directly to funding programs and initiatives
for underprivileged and at-risk children in Collier County. In its first 13 years, the Festival raised more than $110 million that has improved the lives of more than 150,000 children.

This year’s auction promises not to disappoint, as more than 60 lots of extraordinary wines, travel packages, automobiles and more will be available. Just four are highlighted here.

Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Aventador Roadster

lots to love
This extremely limited edition Lamborghini, offered at auction at the Festival, boasts a removable top, gull-wing
doors and a top speed of 217 mph. It is being produced in a worldwide quantity of only 100, of which only 20 will
be released in the United States; the auction automobile is numbered 45 out of 100. A model such as this is virtually unattainable, except to a few of Lamborghini’s very loyal clients.

With permanent all-wheel drive and output of 720 horsepower, the 6.5-liter twelve-cylinder is 20 hp more powerful than the current V12. With its extremely fastshifting ISR transmission, it accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds.

This Roadster features an all-new and exclusive color called Giallo Maggio (May Yellow), which incorporates a particularly intense glitter effect. The interior is
upholstered in fine, natural, semi-aniline leather developed for this model.

In addition to the car, the Lamborghini package includes access to the inaugural US event for the Lamborghini Experienza program, a full day of driving instruction engineered by Lamborghini’s factory drivers, at Palm Beach International Raceway for one person. Available dates are Tuesday, March 26 – Friday March 29, 2014.

The Opus One Experience: Tokyo, London and Napa Valley

Three couples will delight in a wine and food journey including FirstLots to love 2 Class airfare, three nights and special activities at each destination, and Opus One wines throughout. In Tokyo, accommodations are at the
Mandarin Oriental with dining at Nobu with David Pearson.

London’s stay at the Mandarin Oriental is accompanied by dinner at Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner Restaurant. While staying at Auberge du Soleil in Napa Valley, guests join the Opus One team for harvest and enjoy
dinner under the stars at the winery with winemaker Michael Silacci. This package also includes ten Double Magnums of Opus One (1979, 1987, 1991, 1994, 1996, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010.)
2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith

Lots to love 3
The 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith, which has sold out in 2013 and is on a 4-6 month wait list, also will be available at auction.

Wraith is the boldest, most dramatic and powerful Rolls-Royce that has played host to the famous Spirit of Ecstasy figurine. At 624 horsepower, the Wraith also is the most powerful Rolls-Royce motor car ever made. It boasts a twin-turbo V12 engine married to 8-speed automatic ZF transmission,
and achieves the 0-62 mph sprint in 4.6 seconds.

The Wraith is finished in Diamond Black to complement its sweeping fastback design. Coach doors open to reveal a sumptuous interior complete with the softest Phantom-grade leathers in moccasin with black piping and expanses of Tudor Oak wood.

As has been the case for more than a century, a Rolls-Royce motor car has featured technologies designed to support occupants discreetly, delivering a peerless driving experience epitomized by the term “effortlessness.”
Out of Africa
Two lucky couples will enjoy a private-guided, custom 12-day safari experience in northern Tanzania. Beginning in Kilimanjaro at the famed Shangazi House, winners also will spend time at a private tented camp in the Tarangire National Park, one of East Africa’s most scenic places with panoramas of savannah grasslands, big game and rare smaller animals.

Other stops include the Manyara Ranch Conservancy Camp, Lake Eyasi at an altitude of 3,400 feet above sea level, and the Serengeti National Park with its world-renowned wildlife sanctuary. This package includes all professional guides, private safari transportation, all meals and drinks, private charter flights and more. It will be out of this world.

Remote bidding for those unable to attend the auction is available for the Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce auction lots. For information, contact Stephen in the NCEF office at 239.514.2239 or 1.888.837.4919.
