Naples Hosts Symposium with Medical Specialists in the field of Parkinson’s Disease

The Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida (PASWFL) presents their annual Living Well with PD: Education Symposium on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 9:00 am-2:00 pm, at the Naples Hilton, 5111 Tamiami Trail North, Naples, FL 34103. The symposium brings together medical specialists and health professionals in the field of Parkinson’s Disease who help persons with PD to live well. Noted speakers include Ihtsham Haq, MD, Chief, Movement Disorders Division, University of Miami Health System, Adolpho Ramirez-Zamora, MD, Associate Professor Neurology, Program Director, Movement Disorders Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at the University of Florida. The program is open to the public and of special interest to persons with PD, their family members, care partners, and the medical community. Tickets, for program and lunch, are $65 before November 30, 2021, and $75 after that date. VIP tickets are $125 and include preferred seating.

For nearly twenty-five years, PASWFL has provided effective programs and services that improve the quality of life, educate, enrich, and empower our community members affected by PD and related neurological diseases. Each week PAWSFL offers more than 20 programs and support groups for members with PD and their care partners in addition to the greater SWFL community.
