FIFTH AVENUE SOUTH WELCOMES MITCH’S COOKIES DESSERT
BAR & SODA FOUNTAIN TO HISTORIC DOWNTOWN NAPLES

The Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District (BID) today announced the addition of Mitch’s Cookies Dessert Bar & Soda Fountain to the roster of unique retail shops, restaurants, arts and entertainment along Naples’ historic main street.

Located at 520 Park St., just off Fifth Avenue South, Mitch’s Cookies is a small old-fashioned themed soda shop and dessert bar that is known for its cake-like chewy cookies, ice cream creations, milkshakes and other desserts. Gift boxes of more than 50 exclusive variations of gourmet cookies also may be shipped anywhere in the country.

The business was established in 2013 by Mitch and Lynn Mitchell. It was acquired last summer by The Hoffman Families of Companies, although the Mitchells continue to run the company and maintain a minority ownership. The new dessert bar is open from noon to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
