Day Adjusting and Consulting expands to now serve 22 states

Blake Day, owner and president of Day Adjusting and Consulting, has announced the expansion of his company to include services in 22 states. As state licensed and regulated professional insurance adjusters, the Day team represents the client and not the insurance company. Although Day has been licensed in more than 15 states for several years, he is now actively adding more states with the latest office opening in Kentucky staffed with four public adjusters.

The past five years of Florida storms and hurricanes created a high demand for assistance in settling property insurance claims. Day’s team received 50 to 100 calls per day after Hurricane Ian as homeowners were asking for help in navigating the insurance claims process. Due to the high demand, Day concentrated most of his human resources on the recovery of Southwest Florida while still maintaining services in other states across the country.

Now that Florida weather has been without a major occurrence for the past year, the company is expanding again. According to Day, his team is ready when disaster strikes whether a flood, fire, tornado, or hurricane and when the last hurricane did extreme damage in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kentucky, Day responded to the calls by putting boots on the ground. His team is working with some of the most devastated areas of that region and is currently helping policyholders with claims for their largest assets, their homes, and businesses.

The company continues to expand into new markets as more natural disasters occur; Day is currently working to expand into Arizona and California. The nationwide team of 17 adjusters is led by Day himself as he sets high expectations of every team member. As a privately hired adjusting company, Day Adjusting & Consulting advocates for the policyholders when they must file an insurance claim. They take on the entire claim process for their clients.

“It is our objective to negotiate with the client’s insurance company for a higher and more appropriate payout. Whether the claim has already been filed, needs to be filed, or has been closed with an unsatisfactory payout; we can represent the client at any point in the claim process, even if the claim has been denied,” said Mr. Day.

According to a government report (No.10-06) produced by OPPAGA (Office of Program Policy Analysis & Government Accountability), using a public adjuster increases insurance claim payout by 747%, notes Day. “We advise clients not to fight corporate insurance alone; it is their right to have their own professional public adjuster represent them to receive every penny that they are entitled to under the terms of their insurance policy.”

Day Adjusting & Consulting works on a broad range of project types and offers a wide variety of claims services to both commercial and residential clients.
