Culinary Concepts Announces New Live Music Series

Award-winning Southwest Florida restaurant group feeds guests improved dining experiences while supporting local musicians

“Music brings people together,” says Culinary Concepts bar manager Kevin Scarff, announcing the restaurant group’s new live entertainment line-up at Pazzo! Cucina Italiana and Yabba on Fifth Avenue South in Naples and at The Saloon in Estero at the Coconut Point Shopping Center. The new music series brings free, live music performances to fans and guests on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. All performances subject to change.

“Music is an international language and the best tool to bring people together,” believes Scarff, noting that live music works in perfect harmony with the restaurants’ finely-tuned menus. “Live entertainment is a new way to enhance dining experiences because music offers people visceral experiences in addition to the restaurant’s outstanding service, innovative cuisine and tasty cocktails,” he says, adding that fostering a thriving live music scene ultimately feeds into improved experiences for staff, guests and the arts community.

The new live music schedule features a mix of intimate performances by well-known local musicians like vocalists Matty B., Tim Poindexter, Peter Andrews and Bill Colletti along with live bands Big Buck & the Biscuit Boys (Memphis-Delta Blues rock), Electric Lipstick (high energy dance), Wayward Souls (old time rock ‘n roll) and a one-time-only appearance by customer favorite Deb & The Dynamics (classic R&B and pop dance music).

A veteran music industry insider, Scarff has been booking musicians and live bands in Southwest Florida for more than 20 years. He’s the former owner of the well-liked Kaki’s nightclub in North Naples (now current location of Coopershawk Winery & Restaurant) and longtime Neapolitans will remember Scarff as a favorite bartender from the now closed Witches’ Brew restaurant and liquor store.
