Art After Dark – December 2017

We are into the “holiday” time of the year and getting together with family where reminiscing becomes an integral part of conversation.

For anyone that has been in Naples for more than 10 years, Crayton Cove and its award winning restaurants tend to enter into that part of the conversation. Through many changes over the years, it has held onto that historic feel that Naples has had a soft spot for.

Being on Naples Bay, it retains that “waterfront” energy that draws us near. It has inspired many artists present and past to interpret its charm. At present, long time resident artist, Phil Fisher, continues to create colorful renditions in watercolors and oils, of various views of Naples Bay and the beautiful skies that we get to experience daily.

He can be found painting out on location or in his studio/gallery which is currently in Crayton Cove. In conjunction with Guess-Fisher Gallery, Phil Fisher Gallery represents fine art batik by Natalie Guess and loving pet portraits by Tianna Fisher.

They will be hosting a trunk show featuring the fine crafted jewelry of Kathleen Dennison as a special event on December 15th & 16th from 3 – 9 p.m. each day.

Saturday, December 16th will include festivities hosted by all Crayton Cove businesses in celebration of “Christmas In The Cove” from 12 – 9 p.m. Come and visit the Galleries of Crayton Cove, including Random Acts of Art, Naples Ships Store, Pure Design, Cove Inn Lobby 24/7 and the various small shoppes for those unique last minute gifts while enjoying the holiday season in paradise.

If looking for something to do from 6 – 9 p.m. on Saturday December 9th, come and experience Art After Dark, hosted by the Galleries of Crayton Cove. We are a group of galleries representing professional artists in our community in Old Naples by the Bay, all within a one-block walk, where 8th Street South and 12th Avenue South meet at the flagpole.
