ART after Dark only at Crayton Cove

As a rule, March can be one of the busiest months in Naples and this year is no exception. There is some  worthwhile activities going on almost daily, and many of them are culturally related. Outdoor art shows are every weekend, as they have been, but one stands out as a “must do” on that list. Five Painters & A Potter is an annual outdoor art event that has been going on for years and features some of Naples’ most prominent artists.

It’s an opportunity to meet the artists, Jim Rice, Phil Fisher, Paul Arsenault, Natalie Guess, Tara O’Neill and Rick Wobbe, while enjoying live music by Captain Joe & The Bottomfeeders in a tropical setting at The Clay Place. Taking place from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on March 18, it’s a great way to spend a Sunday in Naples at 1555 Shadowlawn Drive. For anyone who has an affinity for Grand Cayman And The Caribbean, the Phil Fisher Gallery is presenting a special show opening on Saturday March 3 from 6 – 9 p.m. of paintings and photography of the Islands. This show features works by Phil Fisher, Jan Ellen Atkielski, Natalie Guess, Nolen Fisher and Robert Graham. That evening offers the opportunity to meet the artists and share memories. The show will be up for two weeks.

The Galleries of Crayton Cove are hosting their festive evening, Art After Dark on Saturday March 10 from 6 – 9 p.m. where the public is invited to come and enjoy a night of live music by Jeff Fessenden & Alchemy while viewing some of the newest artworks by artists including Phil Fisher and Natalie Guess. Located at the  intersection of 8th Street South & 12th Avenue South., Crayton Cove is a charming waterfront community featuring galleries, shoppes and restaurants in Old Naples by the Bay, all within a one-block walk.                                               www.GalleriesOfCraytonCove.com and  www.philfisherfineart.com
