February is here and Naples is buzzing with things to do. Crayton Cove and its galleries and artists are no exception. For starters, artist Phil Fisher is featured in a show titled “Peaceful Places” at the Naples Depot Museum from February 1 to March 31, 2016. It’s an opportunity to view many of Phil’s paintings focused on Naples and its surrounding beauty in a historic locale that makes it obvious why many of the “Old Timers” came and made Naples their home, not to mention the rest of us and our obsession with this as the place to be.

“Art After Dark,” hosted by the Galleries of Crayton Cove, is Saturday, Feb.13, from 6 to 9 p.m., when all the galleries are open and welcoming the public to stroll their establishments. They offer the chance to view their newest works of art presented by the numerous talented artists and enjoy the live music performed by musicians including Jeff Fessenden & Friends. It’s a fun and festive evening for all to enjoy. Phil Fisher Gallery & Guess-Fisher Gallery are featuring a show titled “Wonderful Wading Birds.” The other participating galleries are Random Acts of Art, Earth & Fire, Naples Ships Store, Nora Butler Design & Gallery, Vintage Charm; A European Style Gallery and the Cove Inn Lobby 24/7.

As the month finishes out, the Guess-Fisher Gallery & Phil Fisher Gallery host a show featuring two amazing wildlife artists. Aaron Blaise who graduated from Baron Collier High School and went on to become a head animator for Disney, is now focusing on his own work and will be gracing us with his newest paintings featured in this show titled, “Our Wild Planet” along with Bob Graham, known for underwater paintings based on his numerous dive expeditions. The reception and opportunity to meet these well collected artists is from 6 to 9 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2016.

These are just a few of the many reasons to come and visit the Galleries of Crayton Cove during the month of February. They are a professional artist community in Old Naples by the Bay all within a one-block walk. www.GalleriesOfCraytonCove.com
