ART AFTER DARK

During the past many months, most of us have been spending a higher number of waking hours at home. Because of this, it has become even more important to pay attention to our surroundings. There are a variety of options available to enhance our personal environment. Good memories, uplifting colors and imagery that strikes a positive chord are great additions to one’s décor. Artwork is something that accomplishes these comforting elements in a pleasing manner. Many of us live here in Naples because of the beautiful scenery we have close at hand and there are a large number of artists here for that same reason. There are a few who discovered this part of Florida over 50 years ago with the intent of visually interpreting these scenes in paintings that capture and keep these memories for years to come.

One such artist is Phil Fisher whose studio/gallery is situated conveniently in Crayton Cove, which is an area in downtown Naples, by the City Dock, that is less visited by the masses but exudes the “laid back” feeling of years gone by. At this location, the Phil Fisher Gallery and Guess-Fisher Gallery are offering changing shows each month starting with “Rain, Rain, Rain” in September and “Cool Views” in October 2021. “Art After Dark” events may start up again as Season picks up.
