Where Are We Now? Reflections from the Past Year
Will government Local, State, Federal work together for the good of their constituents or will they continue to fight amongst themselves? Sadly, we’ve seen no change.
Will the Naples Pier ever be whole again?
A ribbon cutting was held on January 5. It will take almost 3 years to tear down and rebuild, provided there are no interruptions from future storms.
Will raising property insurance rates drive residents away?
We went a whole season without a hurricane, but so far, we’ve seen no downward trend in new rates.
Is our military ready to and capable of protecting our Country?
This is much better than a year ago. Recruitment is up and leadership has improved.
Is the American dream to own a home attainable?
The numbers show this dream is even more out of reach than it was last year.
Has America given up on organized religion?
Some recent polls show that 57% of the population does not participate in organized worship.
Will there be a new world order?
Some say it is here already. The Roman Empire lasted well over 1,000 years. We are celebrating 250 years as a Country on July 4 this year. Are we capable of making it to 1,000
