Your Cool Summer Escape Starts at Rookery Bay!

Looking for a way to beat the Southwest Florida heat? The Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center offers a cool, family-friendly escape just minutes from downtown Naples.

Inside the fully air-conditioned center, visitors can enjoy hands-on fun for all ages. Gently touch a sea star, explore aquariums filled with local marine life and step inside the “bubble” aquarium for an up-close view.

Exhibits share the story of Naples coastal environment, wildlife, indigenous people and pioneers, while the art gallery and overlook offer relaxing ways to take it all in. Outside, shaded trails, a butterfly garden and a scenic bridge invite you to explore with a chance to spot wildlife like manatees or juvenile bull sharks.

New Exhibit: See the Tiny World Up Close

Don’t miss the Vusem Interactive “BAM” Microscope, where plankton and tiny marine life are magnified onto a large screen for all to enjoy.
