Wilderness Country Club Selected to Host 2026 U.S. Women’s Open Qualifier

Wilderness Country Club is proud to announce that it has been selected by the Florida State Golf Association as a host site for the 2026 U.S. Golf Association Women’s Open Qualifier in early May.

The 36-hole tournament starts on Wednesday, May 6 and will feature a 78-player field competing on the club’s 18-hole Arthur Hills designed golf course that was completely refurbished by Hills in 2003. According to the U.S. Golf Association, Wilderness Country Club is one of just 26 qualifying sites chosen with locations across 17 U.S. states and three international sites in Canada, England and Japan.

While it has hosted other tournaments over the years, this is the first time Wilderness Country Club has been selected to host the U.S. Women’s Open Qualifier. However, it’s not the first time in Naples for the event – previous host sites include Grey Oaks Country Club (2024) and The Club at Mediterra (2025).
