Let the Celebration Begin!

Baby Basics of Collier County is thrilled to announce a grand celebration! In the 12 short years since its inception, the organization has provided over six million diapers to babies from low-income, working families in Collier County and Bonita Springs. That is huge!

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Baby Basics is throwing a party – a Six Millionth Diaper Concert to be exact. The Six Millionth Diaper Concert will feature an excellent array of the area’s finest musical professionals including Rebecca Richardson, soloist; Leelo Basham, flute; Glenn Basham, violin; Adam Satinsky,cello; The Naples Philharmonic Youth Jazz Band; Dan Miller, director/trumpet; and The Sanctuary Choir of Naples United Church of Christ. These gifted musicians have graciously donated their time and talents for this program.

This event will not only provide an enjoyable evening of music and fellowship,it will also serve as an opportunity for the organization’s volunteers and donors to celebrate the over 1500 babies it has helped since its founding, while also educating the public about the organization’s mission.

The goal of the Six Millionth Diaper Concert is to raise enough money to purchase a tractor trailer load of diapers for the over 400 babies that the organization currently serves.

“This concert is the culmination of years of hard work by our volunteers and donors.We are so honored to be able to host this event – with the support of the talented performers and the Naples United Church of Christ – to celebrate such an amazing accomplishment,” said Jean Ann Lynch, founder and board president of Baby Basics of Collier County.

Baby Basics of Collier County, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer organization that supports children whose parents are considered the “working poor” but do not receive any federal or state cash assistance. All families are screened by local social service agencies who partner with Baby Basics and receive diapers from volunteers at10 distribution sites across Collier County and Bonita Springs.

Tickets for the Six Millionth Diaper Concert are just $35 per person for general admission or $100 per person for VIP, which includes premier seating and a post concert celebration.
