Sparkling sunsets, twinkling twilight, sunlight dancing through mangrove trees. These are the moments that light up the magic of nature. These are reasons we surround ourselves with the paradise that is Southwest Florida.

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is dedicated to protecting this paradise. Now, it is time to make the magic happen at the Conservancy’s annual fundraising gala, Magic Under the Mangroves™. “I truly believe in the people at the Conservancy who work tirelessly on our behalf,” said Carol Dinardo, 2020 Magic Chair.

“This gala is the perfect opportunity to empower the Conservancy’s teams to continue their incredible work.” From sea turtle research to wildlife rehabilitation to fighting for clean water, the Conservancy’s teams of scientists, advocates and educators work to protect our region’s water, land wildlife and future. Named one of the top charitable events in Naples, Magic Under the Mangroves supports this mission.

Since its inception, Magic has raised over $12 million. All funds are used to support local environmental causes. “This event is where the magic happens,” said Rob Moher, Conservancy president and CEO. “Our teams of generous supporters, volunteers and staff come together for one special night. The result is phenomenal.” The 16th annual Magic Under the Mangroves, under the leadership of Chair, Carol Dinardo and Vice-Chair, Katrina Lundmark-Kash, is a recognition of the continuing importance of protecting our unique Southwest Florida natural environment and quality of life.

The 2020 gala event will be held in a spectacular tented setting on the grounds of the Conservancy Nature Center that celebrates nature at night. It’s on! Time to make the magic happen. Thursday, March 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the Conservancy Nature Center. Patron packages are now available.

Magic Under the Mangroves is presented by Northern Trust. The supporting sponsor is William Raveis Real Estate. Media sponsors include Gulfshore Life, Florida Weekly, Naples Daily News, and NBC-2.
