Experienced Florida Physician Joins the Non-Profit Naples Cancer Advisors
Naples Cancer Advisors, a new community-based, non-profit organization that provides consultative oncology services to cancer patients and their families, has announced that Dr. Mohammed Jahanzeb, MD, FACP, FASCO has joined the practice. In this position, Dr. Jahanzeb will lend his expertise in providing no-cost second-opinions to cancer patients locally.
With generous funding from The Cincinnati Cancer Foundation, Inc., Naples Cancer Advisors provides consultative oncology services by appointment. These services include second opinions, care coordination, referrals, clinical trial navigation, financial navigation, and precision oncology services, including genetic testing and counseling for cancer patients throughout the Southwest Florida region.
Dr. Jahanzeb is the Co-Founder and President of OncAdvisor and also co-founded PrecisCA. His most recent practice sites were Florida Cancer Specialists and Florida Precision Oncology. Previously, he was a Professor of Clinical Medicine, Hematology/Oncology at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, where he also served as the Associate Director of Community2 Outreach and Medical Director of the Deerfield Beach Campus for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center on Florida’s East Coast.
Dr. Jahanzeb received his oncology training at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, where he subsequently served on faculty. An expert in his field, Dr. Jahanzeb has practiced and led clinical research in lung and breast cancer medical oncology for the last 30 years.
