The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples announces its annual Night at the Museum fundraising gala will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023. This year’s event theme is Saturday Night Fever and will incorporate a variety of new elements to what is already a highlight event of the Naples social season.

Hosted by event chairs Dena Rae Hancock and Rob Caito, Night at the Museum: Saturday Night Fever will be a playful event for a serious reason – helping children grow through play-based learning.

“After attending and being part of several fabulous Night at the Museum events over the years, we are thrilled and honored to chair this year’s gala,” said Hancock and Caito. “We can’t think of a better way to spend a night than a party to support the children of our community.”

Formerly CMON’s Chief Executive Officer and currently serving on the museum’s advisory board, Hancock has been and continues to be a driving force in the organization’s development.

In addition to the event’s live musical entertainment provided by the ’70s tribute band, The Disco Nights, and curated auction items, this year’s Night at the Museum event will feature an elevated food and wine experience created by Atlanta-based celebrity Chef Philippe Haddad in collaboration with long-time museum supporter Crave Culinaire and Rebecca and Nancy Maddox from Three60 Market & Wine

Chef Haddad is the founder of the PGH Group and has worked in prestigious restaurants, hotels, and resorts around the globe in his more than 30 years of culinary experience. Children can become a weather forecaster, a farmer, a chef, a fisherman, an artist, an architect, or a veterinarian; explore the cold of an igloo, the whoosh of the wind, the sound of the sea, and the effects of gravity. Throughout the day special activities encourage our guests to get involved, try something new and be energized. CMON offers a variety of interactive exhibits providing kids with education, play, learning, science, technology, engineering, inventions, space exploration, art, math, storybooks, creation, building, sensory, and child development.
