Boys & Girls Club of Collier County Launches “26 for ’26” Scholarship Program, Awarding $26,000 to Local Graduating Seniors

Merit-based Great Futures Senior Scholarship supports Collier County students pursuing college, technical training, and career certifications

The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County (BGCCC) is proud to announce the Great Futures Senior Scholarship, a new merit-based program that will award $1,000 scholarships to 26 graduating high school seniors in Collier County pursuing postsecondary education. With $26,000 in total awards – 26 scholarships for the Class of 2026 – this initiative reflects BGCCC’s deepening commitment to supporting students at one of life’s most pivotal transitions.

The Great Futures Senior Scholarship is a natural extension of BGCCC’s mission to help young people reach their full potential. For many Club members, the journey begins in elementary school with after-school programs and summer camps. This scholarship ensures that BGCCC can continue investing in their futures as they take the next step toward college, technical training, or professional certification programs.

It’s about telling students their community believes in them,” said Shani Rodriguez, VP Strategic Initiatives & Impact at BGCCC. “We believe our commitment to Club members doesn’t end when they graduate high school – that’s when a new chapter begins,” said Paul Donahue, CEO of BGCCC. “By awarding 26 scholarships to the Class of 2026, we’re making a deliberate investment in the dreams of local students who are ready to take their next step.”

Applicants will be evaluated based on their future goals and motivation, personal story, essay response, and demonstrated commitment to pursuing postsecondary education.
