BINGO FOR BAGS AND BAUBLES

The Parkinson Association of Southwest Florida has set the date for Bingo for Bags and Baubles coming up from 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Stonebridge Country Club, 2100 Winding Oaks Way in Naples.

Sponsor levels range from $300 to $2,500 to fit every marketing budget. Individual tickets to the event are $50 per person ($20 tax deductible) and includes dinner, two drinks, 13 bingo cards, raffle tickets and additional bingo cards available for purchase. Winners will receive a high-end designer handbag or piece of jewelry for each round.

All donations will serve the families of Collier County for education and support. For every dollar donated 80 cents supports programs and services. Parkinson Disease is the fastest growing disease in our community. Aging and exposure to chemicals are the two highest risk factors for receiving a diagnosis of PD. In the next twenty years, PD will surpass Alzheimer’s Disease.

The Parkinson Association provides free services and programs that improve the quality of life for persons with Parkinson Disease and their care partners. This year we provided: 768 exercise classes, 300 support groups, 30 education programs, 216 speech/music therapy classes, 30 education programs, 14 social activities and 12 improv classes. With there is no charge to participate in the programs and services, the Association absorbs the cost of close to $400 per household.
