Art After Dark – March 2019

Naples is a wonderful place to be and it’s pretty obvious that there are many who agree. This is a month where there are many choices of what to do on any given day to accommodate the numerous visitors and residents.

There are a number of art events this month, as usual, but a few are very focused on long time resident artists that offer an opportunity to meet these well respected professionals and see and purchase some of their current works of art directly from them.

The Galleries of Crayton Cove are hosting their festive event, “Art After Dark” on the evening of Saturday March 9th, from 6 to 9 pm.

Phil Fisher Gallery will feature live music by “Michael Colligan& Friends”, to enjoy while viewing the newest paintings by their artists, and Random Acts of Art, Naples Ships Store and Guess-Fisher Gallery will be open and adding to the festivities to round out a fun evening for all. Crayton Cove is the business community of great restaurants and unique shopping, located where 8th St S and 12th Ave S meet at the flagpole by the Bay, all within a one-block walk.

The 16th annual “Five Painters & A Potter” event is Sunday March 17th from 11 am to 5 pm at The Clay Place located at 1555 Shadowlawn Dr., Naples. It is a unique outdoor art show and sale the way we did them many years ago in Naples. This event features artists that have been living and painting in Naples for more than 45 years and are a strong part of the current day art scene, as well.

“Captain Joe & The Bottom Feeders” are performing live music for your enjoyment while visiting with artists Phil Fisher, Paul Arsenault, Jim Rice, Natalie Guess, Tara O’Neill and Rick Wobbe.
