A GOLDEN GATE OPPORTUNITY

As the single most underserved area in Collier County, the rapidly growing community of Golden Gate is in need of basic primary healthcare. This year, Healthcare Network will expand its reach into this community by opening a new three-story, 50,000-square-foot building to help serve the 36,000 residents who live there.

The complex has been named Nichols Community Health Center after a lead gift from Naples resident Jerry Nichols. “I have  focused my efforts and financial support on organizations that have an impact on children’s lives through education, access
to healthcare and safe environments that help them grow and develop into their full potential,” Nichols said.

“In Golden Gate, access to healthcare has been limited for so many. When children aren’t healthy, they’re not reaching their full potential, so I saw the Nichols Community Health Center as an opportunity to provide the people of Golden Gate access to better care, ensuring a better community for all.”

Healthcare Network is a medical and dental home, where everyone in the community can receive patient-centered, team-based
and continuous comprehensive healthcare services regardless of their insurance status. The services available at the Nichols Community Health Center will include obstetrics and gynecology, dental, primary medical, and integrated behavioral health
services, as well as a drive-thru pharmacy.
