“This painting was meant to be all about that feeling we get when first walking out on a beach on a beautiful day,” Fisher explains. “Taking in that breath of salt air with the feeling that this beach is yours and you have it all to yourself! It’s a moment like experiencing paradise, when the worries of the day get whisked away with that ocean breeze.”

Fisher’s passion for the beach is evident in his work. He often paints on location in the early morning hours, capturing the unique light and atmosphere of the seaside. “I’ve done so many over my lifetime and more to come!” he exclaims. “I’ll never stop painting, it’s who I am and my greatest joy – to spread awareness and put smiles on faces!”

The artist also acknowledges the many dedicated artists who may not receive widespread recognition. “It’s all good!” Fisher encourages. “Be happy and excited for all the artists in your life who are passionate and do it for the sake of what it brings to others and themselves!”

Fisher’s own artistic journey has been guided by his father’s advice: “Keep your feet planted and make a go of things from there and the world just might come to you!” This philosophy is reflected in Fisher’s dedication to his craft and his focus on the joy of the process.
