2027 Naples Winter Wine Festival to Salute Renowned French
Winemaker Frédéric Engerer of Artémis Domaines as Honored Vintner

The Naples Children Foundation (NCF), founders of the Naples Winter Wine Festival, today announced that Frédéric Engerer, CEO of Artémis Domaines, a group of nine estates including the famous Bordeaux first growth Château Latour, will be saluted as its Honored Vintner at the 27th annual Naples Winter Wine Festival on January 29-31, 2027.

Born into a family of wine merchants in the Languedoc region of France, Engerer has been passionate about wine for the past three decades. While completing his business degree at HEC Paris, a world-renowned business school founded in 1881 in France, he developed his tasting skills with expert wine journalists Michel Bettane and Bernard Burtschy.

Engerer began his career at Air Liquide, a world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health in San Francisco before acting as a consultant for such advertising and management consulting companies as Lintas in Paris and Mars & Co in both London and Paris. After François Pinault acquired the legendary Château Latour in 1993, Engerer was asked to join his team as commercial director in 1995 and then was promoted to president three years later.

As the Festival’s 2027 Honored Vintner, Engerer will be recognized for his decades of industry leadership and his desire to make great wines from terroirs with strong personalities. In his current role as CEO of Artémis Domaines, the company which includes the vineyards owned by the Pinault family, Engerer supervises the following wine estates in addition to Château Latour:

• Château Grillet (mono-appellation in the Northern Rhône Valley)

• Bouchard Père & Fils (Beaune, Burgundy)
• Beaux-Frères Vineyard (Willamette Valley, Oregon)
• Vignoble des Cabottes (Beaune, Burgundy)

The 2027 NWWF comes following the successful celebration earlier this year at which over $30 million was raised. Spanning three days, the Festival will showcase dozens of award-winning chefs, acclaimed vintners and talented sommeliers who generously donate their time and talents at intimate private dinners across Naples, plus an amazing live auction with one-of-a-kind lots.

This year’s theme “Hope Sings: A Brighter Tomorrow Takes the Stage.” celebrates the idea that when a community lifts its voice in support of children, hope doesn’t just exist—it resonates, it inspires and it leads to a brighter future.
