PARKINSON’S ASSOCIATION OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

ANNOUNCES UPCOMING CHANGES TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida (PASWFL) has elected Kimberly Adams as Treasurer, David Linz, MD, and Stephen Schahrer, Esq., to its board of directors at large. They join the existing all-volunteer board, which includes Board Chair Anthony Maglione, Vice Chair Danielle Dyer, Secretary Karim Mawji, and members John Botsko Jr., Claire Bisignano Chesnoff, Larry Sternberg, MD, and Charles Weinrich.

“Kimberly, David, and Stephen, bring valuable experience and expertise to our board,” said Anthony Maglione, PASWFL Board Chair. “Our dedicated board members provide strategic direction and expert resources to our organization and guide the association to its vision to create a supportive community for those in Southwest Florida touched by Parkinson’s.”

Kimberly Adams joins the PASWFL Board of Directors as Treasurer, lending her deep financial knowledge including 35 years as a QuickBooks consultant, a passion for community service, and a strong commitment to Southwest Florida, where she now lives full-time.

David Linz, MD is an Internal Medicine physician with NCH Medical Group’s Division of Concierge Medicine at Moorings Park, who also serves as Chief Medical Informatics Officer for NCH and faculty for its Internal Medicine Residency program. With academic ties to Mayo Clinic and UCF, Dr. Linz brings both professional and personal commitment to improving the lives of those impacted by Parkinson’s disease.

Stephen C. Schahrer, Esq., a Naples native and business litigation attorney with Boatman Ricci, brings legal expertise in business, real estate, and estate litigation. He serves as General Counsel for local businesses and nonprofits, and is actively involved with Hope City Church and Better Together.
