Healthcare Network to Receive $8,000 Contribution from
Immokalee Water & Sewer District in Support of Oral Health Care

Funds will support vital oral health services, benefiting children and families across Immokalee

Healthcare Network is proud to recognize the Immokalee Water & Sewer District for its thoughtful intent to contribute $8,000 in support of oral health care services in the Immokalee community. This meaningful contribution reflects a shared commitment to the health and well-being of residents, especially their children.

The contribution corresponds to projected fluoride chemical savings the District anticipates realizing between January and December 2025, following a temporary pause in the addition of fluoride to the community’s water supply. These redirected funds will help strengthen access to preventive oral health care for patients of all ages.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Immokalee Water & Sewer District and its Board for this investment in our community’s health,” said Jamie Ulmer, President and CEO of Healthcare Network. “Redirecting savings from operations to support preventive care is a powerful example of community-minded leadership. We look forward to future opportunities to work together in support of Immokalee families.”

Healthcare Network is committed to ensuring that every person—regardless of income, insurance, or background—has access to high-quality, affordable health care. With support from partners like the Immokalee Water & Sewer District, the organization continues to expand its impact and improve outcomes across the region.
