an ARTIST’s perception by Phil Fisher and Natalie Guess

November is the month where we celebrate the arts in Collier County in an extra special way. Through the years, we have featured many different shows and events that make it a special month. This year, we are offering a number of workshops that start this month, as well as ongoing shows of artwork by our professional area artists. The first workshop will be a Batik Workshop instructed by Natalie Guess on November 17-18, from 9 to 3:30 p.m. If you aren’t able to make it at this time, she will offer another workshop on April 20-21, 2026. December 8-9 will be a workshop instructed by Jan Ellen Atkielski.

She will teach you to Paint Expressively with a Palette Knife in Oils. If you want to take this wonderful workshop, but can’t do it at this time, she will be offering the workshop again on January 18-19, 2026. Nationally known artist, Morgan Samuel Price will be offering a Plein Air Painting in Oils workshop from March 16-20, 2026. Come by and find your favorite painting and meet the artists of the place that you love!
