Futures Gala, Honors Jaden as 2026 Youth of the Year

The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County (BGCCC) celebrated an extraordinary evening of impact and generosity at its Great Futures Gala, held Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Grey Oaks Country Club. The event raised more than $600,000 to support BGCCC’s mission of empowering local youth through academic success, leadership development, and life-changing opportunities.

Community leaders, donors, and advocates gathered for an inspiring night that highlighted the resilience, talent, and potential of the 4,000 children and teens BGCCC serves annually across Naples and Immokalee. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner, live fundraising, and moving stories from Club members whose lives have been shaped by the organization’s programs.

A centerpiece of the evening was the announcement of Jaden as the 2026 Youth of the Year, BGCCC’s highest honor recognizing a young person who exemplifies leadership, academic achievement, community service, and character. Jaden’s story and remarks underscored the transformative power of mentorship, opportunity, and belief.

“The Great Futures Gala is more than a fundraiser, it’s a celebration of what’s possible when a community comes together for its kids,” said Paul Donahue, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County. “Raising $600,000 in one night means we can expand programs, deepen our impact, and ensure more young people have access to the tools they need to succeed. Funds raised will directly support BGCCC’s year-round programming, including academic enrichment, college and career readiness, leadership development, wellness initiatives, arts, and sports programs. These efforts provide safe spaces, trusted mentors, and pathways to success for youth during the critical after-school hours.
