“I can’t answer these,” you scream silently. “It doesn’t matter. I don’t matter.”

This is the hidden weight many survivors carry. Trauma can steal the simple joys, the favorite songs, the places
that once felt safe. It can distort identity and replace it with silence, fear, and shame.

That is why NCVRW and SAAM matter.
And that is why Project HELP matters.

Because awareness must lead to action. Because survivors deserve more than recognition — they deserve real
support, real advocacy, and real pathways to healing. In Collier County, that support begins the moment
someone reaches out for help—Project HELP.

Project HELP is a nonprofit providing free, confidential counseling, advocacy, and 24-hour crisis support for
those affected by sexual violence, sudden death, and other crimes.

Our team includes licensed therapists, certified advocates, and dedicated volunteers — all committed to
offering hope, empowerment, and healing to those in need. Project HELP is Collier County’s only state-
certified Rape Recovery and Victim Service Center. Since 1986, we’ve provided free counseling, advocacy,
and crisis support for survivors of sexual violence and sudden loss.

        You’re Not Alone.
Compassionate, confidential support when you need it most.

There is no right or wrong way to respond to sexual assault. Whatever you are feeling is valid, and help is
        available when you’re ready.

We work closely with the Medical Examiner’s Office, law enforcement, hospitals, and other community
partners to ensure victims and families get the help they need.

Our team offers individual, family, couples, and group counseling, as well as court and forensic exam
advocacy, victim compensation assistance, and on-site crisis response. Project HELP’s Crime Victim Support
& Recovery Program is committed to supporting individuals and families affected by crime through
compassionate advocacy, resources, and personalized support. Whether you are a victim, survivor, or loved
one, we are here to help you access services and navigate the path toward healing.

We’re here to HELP — providing empowerment, growth, and healing to survivors in Collier County.

You don’t have to face these difficult times on your own. Our compassionate staff, advocates, and volunteers
are here to support you with services and resources that help guide you toward healing
        and stability.

As we observe National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and recognize 25 years of
Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we recommit to listening, acting, and
        advocating.

        Because survivors matter.
Because their voices deserve to be heard.
        Because healing is possible.
And because no one should ever have to rewrite their “All About Me” alone.
