FLORIDA’S ECONOMY
RUNS ON CLEAN WATER
The Everglades provides the drinking water for 9 million Floridians
and countless visitors.
Everglades restoration will send water south to nourish the Everglades while
reducing the harmful impacts of red tide in Southwest Florida.
South Florida’s main industries of tourism, real estate, and fishing depend
on a healthy Everglades.
A restored Everglades will mitigate the effects of climate change by
amplifying carbon sequestration, protecting our drinking water supply, and
providing storm surge resilience.
EVERGLADES RESTORATION. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE WATER.
