Common Wisdom
for Uncommon Times
Be kind to people and animals too.
Laugh when you can - and when you do, laugh a lot. Just tell the truth.
Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon. Clean up your own mess.
Practice gratitude. Find another reason to smile - floss your teeth. Read a
good book. Read to a child! Lend a hand, or an ear.
Be a lifesaver and donate blood. Call your mom and dad, or kids.
Be a friend. Call them too! Take the dog for a walk and smile at
who you meet. Don’t drink and drive. No road rage, either!
Life is too short already. Often, the days are long; the years fly by.
When times are good, savor the joy. Be gentle with the earth. Plant a tree.
Ground yourself in the moment. Cut out the drama and don’t go to extremes.
Let art color your life. And, eat the rainbow in fruit and veggies.
Stay calm. Stay focused. Stay hydrated.
And, the foundation of it all: Health is the real wealth.
